Umm i did
but the LCD used in that thread is a 2x7 pin config and not the same as what i am using.
and the the WIRZ backpack doesnt tell whitch pin is PIN1

Ahh ok... sorry.

The pin numbers on the LCD in the example will be the same as the CFAH1602B-TMC-JP even though they are layed out differently.

No idea about the backpack pin numbers... surely there has to be a diagram somewhere on the net showing the pinout of it though.

If you read the data sheet/manual on their website, you would find out that the square pin is pin #1
