Ok well i have this lcd

Seiko L1642B1L

i wired it up with this diagram

lcd_sch.gif

Now when i was soldering the contact on point 4 on the front side of the lcd pcb fell off. So i soldered it to the back one, so i dunno if thats the prob

so anyways i wired everything up and tried it back light works fine, hooyray, but i cant get a signal

When i boot up odd numbered rows should light up, no rows lit up. So i was thinking perhaps it was my contrast potentiometer, so i took it off, and tied pin 3 to pin 1 (gnd) so the contrast would be maxed, but still nothing. Ive tried matrix orbital test software, crystal control, and a bunch of other lcds nothing works please help
:D

thanx
