Fan Contoller interfacing to LCD

Hi peoples.
A little while ago I came across a small program that not only allowed you to monitor fan RPMs and motherboard termperature sensors (much like MBM), but it also allowed you to actually CONTROL the speed of the fans.

It took this one step further in that it would let you slow down the speed of the fans when the various sensors were running cool thus keeping the PC quiet but would increase the RPM of the fans if the PC started getting hotter.

It was only a small freeware program but it worked great.
I have since lost it and have not been able to find it again.
I've spent days looking for it on the search engines and forums but have not had much luck.
I am pretty sure it is called FAN magic or something similar.

I thought I saw it originally here on the CF forum but the search function gave me no joy.

Does this ring a bell with anyone?

Thanks,
TS

I ended up finding it at http://www.almico.com/speedfan.php

It controls the fan via the system management chip that most motherboards have these days.

I believe it should work with any motherboard made within the last 18 months or so.

I have it working here on an ABIT BX133-RAID and it works great.
I can even control the speed of the Geforce 3 HSF when it is not running hot

Cheers.
