enable/disable alternate with 635 keyboard

When monitoring my system i wish i could stop the screen from switching over to the other, and enabling them again when i'm done. I have an 635, so what better way to do this than using the 635 keyboard and the "x"and "tick" buttons. But is there a command, ID nr, do_type or so available to enable or disable the alternate. If not is there an other way to achieve this?

There is no event to do that at the moment.
I will add it though.

Thanks for asking for it too, its somthing i should have added a while ago.
