You would have to check the LCDproc site. I think that the CFA-631 is supported in the nightly builds.

I've checked, it's not clear rom the site or the sourcecode if it's supported. And I don't want to buy a 631 first only to find out there isn't any software support.

Ive just looked at the source for the current CVS of lcdproc.

Im not quite sure if the 631 is supported.
There are sections of code for use with a 631, but im not sure if itll actually run a 631 as yet.
