CPU Usage Big Nums

This screen wont work for me. I have a CF 631.

All it displays is: (ignore ____)

CPU Use:__________________[E01]
_________________________ [E01]

Anyone else getting the same?

PC is a Shuttle SN95G5 running Windows XP Pro SP2.

Have a look in your C:\Program Files\CrystalControl2\cc2-service directory at the service.ini file, scroll down to near the bottom and does it show;

Sat 18 15:41:52 NOTICE load_dlls: DLL_OTHER plugin "cc2_bigchars.dll" loaded

For the cc2_bigchars.dll line?

In your cc2_bigdemo.log file does it show something like;

Sat 18 15:41:52 NOTICE log_start: Logging started
Sat 18 15:41:52 NOTICE timer_calibrate: timer ticks/sec: 2800133336.1993
Sat 18 15:41:52 NOTICE ini_check_section: section found: big-00
Sat 18 15:41:52 NOTICE ini_read_dword: value found: big-00->id_item = 3582288514
Sat 18 15:41:52 NOTICE ini_read_dword: value found: big-00->id1 = 1375872132
Sat 18 15:41:52 NOTICE ini_read_dword: value found: big-00->id0 = 1021250035

In the service.ini file it says:

Sat 18 20:57:53 ERROR load_dlls: plugin "cc2_bigchars.dll" is not a valid DLL file (LoadLibrary failed)

I dont see a file called cc2_bigdemo.log

It would seem to be a bad CC2 installation since you have had 2 separate .dll files fail (showgif and bigchars).

Do either .dll files exist in your CC2 directories? If not, try to reinstall CC2 over your existing installation. If they do exist, you might try reinstalling anyway.

As a last resort, uninstall and reinstall CC2. If they STILL do not work, then this would sound like a good one for CrystalControl Admin to figure out !

Itll probably be a missing system DLL problem.
Ill try and find out exactly what DLLs they do require.

SN45G here on XP Pro and SP2, CFA 631 and CPU Usage Big Nums is running perfect as perfect can be. I know the SN95 has been a trifle problematic in the past and wonder if it is a mobo/cpu problem. The setup has only been around a relatively short time and has more writeups in the Sudhian forum than any other machine at the moment. I believe it was even giving wrong temps until a bios upgrade was performed.

Now it may not be this, but it needs to be taken into consideration too. How are the other screens working out? As other SN95 users join the fray I`m sure we`ll get to the root of the problem very soon.
