CFAH1604A-YYB-JP : Contrast vs. Vo

There is no signification of clockwise on the contrast adjustment pot in the example schematic of the data sheet.

I want contrast to go up when rotating clockwise.

I assume there is also a saturation point... what is the practical value of Vo at contrast saturation?

Making the voltage on Vo closer to +5v will make the display lighter.

Making the voltage on Vo vloser to ground will make the display darker.

The data sheet lists the typical range of Vlcd as 4.2v to 4.8v -- this means that what you measure on Vo will probably be in the range of 0.2v to 0.8v for typical viewing angles and temperatures.
