CFAF320240F (SSD2119) SPI

I'm using a CFAF320240F (with SSD2119) Display in 4-wire Serial Peripheral Interface Mode.
Unfortunately it's flickering. What can I do to get a stable Image? Can I use the WSYNC-Output in 4-Wire-Mode or is there another technique? I can't use the Parallel Mode (Low on IOs...)
My requirements are relatively low, I need the display to display a Graph (Update 5x per second).

WSYNC would be the signal to use for syncing. I wonder whether you'll be able to write the display data during the non-refresh time using SPI mode in 200 mS. I guess you'll have to play around with mode 1 or mode 2 WSYNC and see if you have any success.
