There is special firmware to expose the Rx and Tx lines on H1 of the CFA-635. Is the module you have a -KU or a -KS?

It can be done, but it would have to be returned to have the serial firmware loaded on.

There is no way to do it yourself. Unfortunately, the serial version needs to be ordered originally as a serial, there is no way to convert from the USB to serial by the user.

Please write support@crystalfontz.com (refer to this thread) and they will let you know the shipment options.
