Boot message editor

I am designing my own product and I would rather have my own advertisement at boot time.

Is there any documentation on what the boot message editor writes into the eeprom?

I don't run Windows and don't want to run Windows.

The data sheets for each display documents the command. It is usually something like "Save current state as boot state".

You basically put whatever you want on the display, and then send the command.

What command do you send to save the currrent display? Is it a control character sequence?

I replied before but it looks like it didn't take. I pasted the url that pointed to the documentation and I guess the program thought it was spam. I did not see the command to send in the documentation.
