I just got my 633 yesterday, everything worked fine in Wintest633, until today.... Whenever I try to adjust the contrast, or backlight settings (it's currently on contrast 28, backlight 100) It appears to reboot the display (any text displayed get's changed to the boot screen and the backlight flashes). In the packet debugger, no return packet was sent. Everything else appears to work fine.... Nothing in my connections (power, serial) has changed since then.
