ATMega32 to CFAH1202A-NYA-JP (LCD)

i know there is a good chance this question has been answered my time before i just didn't see it

i'm tring to interface the CFAH1202A-NYA-JP LCD with an atmega32 and my code doesn't seem to be working right so i was wondering if anyone new of other any example code that does work that i could compare to?

For kicks I searched "lcd" or "44780" and got quite a few hits.

We have demo code, but I think something already target at the AVR would be a better starting point.
