634 series backlight

Have installed prox. 20 634 LCD's type SKD204-634 V2.2 and the backlight has failed on all but one panel. I recently installed a new LCD and the problem is definitely the backlight. How shall I procede. I also noticed on the new LCD that the backlight LED series resistor is a different value.?
