hi, I am in the process of adding a 634 to my tivo as described here: http://www.disneycorner.com/toddscorner/tivolcd/
and inadvertently ordered the USB version.
After successfully (probably) prying off the USB daughter board on the 634 and soldering the data, power, and ground leads (as described above), I am having difficulties in getting it to work.
My question is this: Other than JPE being closed are there any other differences in the USB and Serial 634's that might be causing my trouble?
BTW It seems to boot ok so i don't think that I broke anything.
