634 Boot Screen Reverting

I have a new serial 634 display that we are prototyping a product with and I am having boot screen issues. I use the Boot screen editor program to load my custom boot screen and when I connect/disconnect my COM port on the PC everything is fine. When I put it into my application (using the solder pads for pwr, gnd, backlight, data) the screen shows up once, when the units power is cycled the boot screen reverts to the original Crystal Fontz display. It has happened with more than one brand new display, so it is repeatable. Any idea why this would happen?

When using the boot screen program, try unchecking 'auto update display' before saving the settings.

I have already tried that after reading it in another thread before I posted and yielded the same results.

What are you setting the boot screen configuration for, 5 seconds, etc.

I've tried 5 seconds, Until first char arrives, indefinately; they all do the same thing. It reverts back to the CF bootscreen when the microcontroller is reset.
