633 "for dummies"

Hi there. I just got a 633 LCD as a gift from a friend. He won it in a maximum PC contest and gave up trying to figure it out. I found the 633 datasheet, but I have to admit, it made me feel even dumber. Has anyone ever written a "for dummies" style giude on this thing, or would anyone be willing to assist me via IRC one day? Please help, this would be the coup de gras for my modding projects
