It's a very good idea. I also connected my 633 to the WOL for getting the Standby-Voltage.
I would also tell you what some Mobo's have problems with connecting the 633 to the power control pin. My Epox EP-8RDA+ is such a example.
I built a little circuit with 2 transistors, the first is an inverter and the second switches a relay, that is connected with the Mobo. With that it works. The reset made no problems.
