Hi,
I want to interface CFA533-YYH-KL to Xilinx FPGA which is in my board.
I want to know if my understanding is correct,
1. The CFA533-YYH-KL is logic level serial UART interface that can talk to FPGA.
2. The RS232 transceiver on my board is operating with 3.3V. Can this work with CFA533?
3. the connections are to made from J_RS232 connector

Hi,

Yes, the CFA533-YYH-KL is logic level serial UART interface. It is host blind as long as the information is sent as expected.

It is compatible with 3.3v logic.

Data connection is made through J_RS232. Please refer to the datasheet for more information on those connections - https://www.crystalfontz.com/products/document/3636/CFA533-TMI-KL_Datasheet_Release_2016-12-16.pdf

While the display color referred to in that datasheet is different, the interface information will be the same.
